    1. [PLY/MA] Plymouth Visit +
    2. Frederick M. Dittmar
    3. Greetings, I've just returned to Oklahoma from a trip to Plymouth, Massachusetts where I enjoyed many clam and lobster rolls. I visited the Plymouth Public Library* and enjoyed talking with Beverly Ness, Lee Reagan about genealogy and Plymouth History. I also made a surprise visit to the Plymouth County Genealogy Society. I've communicated with this group for over three years and never met anyone. I joined the meeting and introduced myself and I'm glad the ladies were already sitting down. In my activities there I found a 1903 street map of Plymouth (7ft long)indicating the homeowners from Jabez Corner to Boundry Lne. I will do a lookup if you think your ancestor lived there in that time, I'll need their name and street address. It's not indexed. I also returned with the town reports from 1906 - 1989 the indicate births marriages and deaths for that period. Again I'll do lookups once I get squared away next month. Need the name, year and subject. B M D. The majority of these Chandlers lived in Massachusetts and Maine, with some going west and settling in Iowa in the mid-1800s.
