Dear List: I was able to borrow one volume of a three (?) vol. series of genealogies/ biographies published in 1912 concerning people in southeastern Massachusetts at that time. While not complete in every sense, it does give a flavor of the life and pedigrees of certain people in families, and as such, should be good reading for genealogists of every flavor. The series also includes photo portraits of people. In replying to this message, please keep the subject line, so we can have a thread. I am trying to find the library location of one or more of the set of books titled on the spine "Southeastern Massachusetts" with a sub-title "Genealogy-Biography". The title page reads: "Representative Men and Old Families of Southeastern Massachusetts Containing Historical Sketches of Prominent and Represntative Citizens and Genealogical Records of Many of the Old Families." Published by J. H. Beers & Co., Chicago, IL 1912. If you know of such a location for the book, please announce it.
