Im new to the list and seeking information about the death/buriel of Mary (Peebles) Hoit/Hoyt (born 1788, New Salem) who was widowed of Joseph or James Hoyt/Hoit. He was born 1779,died 18 sept. 1842 in Lowell from diabetes, but she lived much longer and may have remarried. Her place of death is listed as "Westdale" in 1874 (West Bridgewater) Her great grand children are buried in Elmwood and she may be as well. Also cant find any record of her son Asa Hoyt (no birth , death, or buriel), but her great grandsons Damon and Cecil Hoyt are buried there. Asa died young not long after his father in 1846 (probably diabetes) and his wife Sally/Sarah Gassett remarried to Thomas Conant. If someone has acess to the cemetary and/or its records, any info would be helpfull. I would be interested in any Hoyts from that area and time. As it ends up, my grandfather was living in Brockton in the 1940's-70's Thanx in advance, David Emery Hoyt
