    1. Re: [PLY/MA] what is the connection of these LINCOLN'S
    2. Eugene Hubbard
    3. Daniel Lincoln and Elizabeth Lincoln have no recorded relationship except by marriage. They probably are related by blood, but no-one has reported it that I am aware of. Elizabeth was not a twin of Ruth, if you can believe George Lincoln's "The History of the Town of Hingham ." She was born 2 Dec 1656. Ruth was born 19 Nov 1662. No connection of Elizabeth's family can be made with Daniel's ancestors as there is a brick wall in Elizabeth's family, as you noted. No-one seems to know the given name of her grandfather. If you find out otherwise, please let me know... 3. Dear Plymouth Co Friends, I am looking for connections to a Thomas Sargent b, abt 1650-60. He married Ruth Johnson, d/o Lt. Francis Johnson of Pemaquid.. I just found he was granted 100 acres of land in Pemaquid , ME in 1686 by GOV Dongan.. By 1690 he and Ruth Johnson had their Children. By 1700 or a little after they move to Boston, where I find them members of the North Church. He does not seem to connect to the Malden Sargent line or Barnstable Co line, although they may have spent time for a bit in Provincetown and Truro, MA.. He may be related to the Maine/MA Sargents though. I can not place him though in any other lines. Here were their children. They apparently were in Boston by abt 1700-1705. 1 Thomas Sergeant b: Abt. 1660 in England or ME/MA .. +Ruth Johnson b: in Salem, MA m: Abt. 1690 in Scituate, Plymouth Co., MA or Pemaquid ME. Sherri - I think that the District Court structure in Plymouth County was the same in 1925 as it is now. The Third District Court covers Plymouth and nearby towns in east-central Plymouth County. The address is: Third District Court of Plymouth Russell St. Court House Plymouth, MA 02360 (508) 747-0500 Even though Plymouth is the County seat, their court is the Third. The First is not called such, it is called the Brockton District Court and covers the north-west towns. The Second is in Hingham and covers the north-east towns. The Fourth is in West Wareham and covers the southern towns. For a list of the mailing addresses and telephone numbers of the Massachusetts District Court Houses see: http://www.melrose.org/constabulary/courts.htm The parent site: http://www.melrose.org/constabulary/home.htm is operated by a Norfolk County constable, and also includes an interesting page that briefly gives the history of that office and thoroughly describes his powers in Massachusetts today. 2. Aaccording to MFIP Richard Warren is not given a birth date but probably was born in England and died in Plymouth 1628. He and Elizabeth had seven chilldren, the five daughters and wife Elizabeth came on the "ANNE" in 1623 You can purchase a soft cover book from Mayflower Families, POB 3297 Plymouth, Mass. 02361 giving four generations of this family for about $8.00. with additional postage rates for $,3.00.
