Source: "The Robertson County Times" Wednesday, 28 Jun 2006 Nellie Earhart Mantlo Nellie Earhart Mantlo, 85, of Springfield, died June 25, 2006, at Springfield Heights Assisted Living. Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 27, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Springfield, with Bro. Joel Jones officiating. Interment followed in Robertson County Memorial Gardens Mrs. Mantlo was born May 10, 1921, in Stewart County to the late Marion and Annie Lena Long Earhart. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Annie Lena Long Earhart; husband, Howard Mantlo; sisters, Amy Moore and Helen Smith; and a brother, William Earhart. She is survived by sister, Alice Anderson of Goodlettsville; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Nathan Smith, Jack Daniel, Danny Smith, Lynn Earhart, Marvin Rowe and Milton Moore. Austin & Bell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
