I think you've got to get a look at Deed Book 499, page 109; description of Lot 8, dated November 1873. I don't know if you can get a clerk to look that up for you over the phone or via mail??? Here's a link to their website: http://www.norfolkdeeds.org/ If you want to see all that I just passed on to you, you can also search; click on research online and then free access, then recorded land by name; search and then click on the little tab next to the result that say DOC, and on the left a little box pops up, click on view and you can view the actual documents. Also Plat maps which show land ownership may help you determine who lived there if you can find where to look for the right neighborhood in the right timeframe. Ancestry.com has some for Quincy.
