I looked up all Bjornholms born in the Quincy records and found a Toivo Frederick Bjornholm b. 15 April 1906 in Quincy and he died 29 June 1973 in Quincy. In the 1930 census he was married to Ruth. He is the only Bjornholm close to your father's age. Bjornholm's parents were also Finnish. It might be a good place to start. In the directories there appears to be a TF Bjornholm living in Quincy. Perhaps a junior to the 1906 T Frederick Bjornholm. A phone number and address are listed, if you need this information - send me your direct email and I will send it to you. I don't know if it is still valid. I also looked up Keniley's in Quincy. There was a Joseph A. born in 1893 and he had a son Joseph B. in 1918. These would also be the closest in age to your father. Joseph B. Keniley died in 2003. His obituary follows: QUINCY - Joseph B. Keniley, 86, of Quincy, retired maintenance foreman for the Quincy School Department, died Friday at Milton Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Keniley worked for the schools for more than 39 years and retired in 1987. He worked at the Fore River shipyard in Quincy before World War II. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Cyril P. Morrisette American Legion Post in Quincy. Born in Quincy, he was educated in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School. He was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Keniley was a long-time active member of Christ Church Episcopal in Quincy. Husband of the late Pearl E. (Anderson) Keniley, he is survived by three daughters, Doris M. Moore of Quincy, Nancy L. Hallisey of Rockland and Jean E. Dougherty of Trumbull, Conn.; a son, Joseph A. Keniley of Quincy; a sister, Sylvia Cahill of Abington; and 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The Rev. Sarah Conner of Christ Church Episcopal will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy. Burial will be in Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Visiting will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. If you are interested in doing follow up with Joseph Keniley's children listed in his obit I found current contact information for them. I will send it in a private email. I hope this helps on your path. I will be happy to send the contact info- just let me know. Erin Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
