I've "rescued" an old photograph of Clarence M. PAINE which was taken at the Horton Studio in Albany, New York. The photograph is dated May 1879 with Clarence appearing to be in his teens at the time. Based on limited research I was able to the gather the following information regarding Clarence and his family: Clarence Mann PAINE b. 9 Jul 1860 in Clinton, NY to parents Horace Marshfield PAINE (b. 19 Nov 1827 in Paris, NY) and Charlotte MANN (b. 25 Jun 1828 born Norfolk Co. MA). The couple had 4 children including, Nathaniel Emmons; Clarence Mann; Howard Simmons; and Emily Florence PAINE all born in New Hartford, NY between 1853 and 1865. Clarence married Louise Root AVERILL (b. 1 May 1872 in Perrysburg, OH) on 10 Jun 1896 in Atlanta, GA and together they had three children including, Dorothy Averill; Louise Averill; and a third unnamed child.
