I know Matt Piispanen mentioned was a member of my grandmothers family, What confuses me I was also told the house was built in 1900. My grandmother even lied(I think) she told us, all our lives that her father had built that house when he came from Finland. His name was Lauri Piispanen, I think his wife Susan (Larson) may have been with him, along with her 23 yr old sone John(I guess 1st marriage for Susan) Anyway someday I'll find the answers.
