Go to Google maps and put in 1250 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts 02169. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=Church of the Presidents Quincy&rlz=1B3RNFA_enUS265US305&sa=N&tab=wl&um=1 Use the pan feature to see the T sign - this is where the alley is then pan to see the crosswalk, you have to cross two street - there is an island in the middle. After you get of the T walk towards Hancock Street. If you walk more towards City Hall (can't miss the new addition - it is all glass and sort of ugly)there is an alley way between it and another building with a small park on your right. At Hancock Street you cross keeping the United First Parish Church of Christ (Church of the Presidents) on your right - walk straight to another intersection and the library is right across the street. Another hint; use the "street view" of 1250 Hancock Street which is a red brick building called President's Place this is right across the street from the alley that leads to the T. Use the pan feature on the map to see all the way around. If you inadvertently get off the T and wall just straight (this is Saville Row), you will have to take a right on to Hancock street then cross onto Washington Street - this is confusing as Washington changes to Hancock Street at President's Place (see map). Hope this helps. Susan Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
