That is good for us as the competition helps keep the prices down. My personal opinion is that posting these companies on the message boards and lists amounts to a kind of adverstising and I don't think we should. That said, if someone will take some time to research these companies, getting snail-mail addresses, phone numbers and websites, I will develop a page with ALL of them and put it up on the Massachusetts Vital Records Project website. That way, it won't be endorsing any one of them and will provide a one stop spot to find who sells the kinds of books that we, as genealogists, need.
