What source do you have for Mass being his b.place? Other than census? Have you located his death record? He lived to such an old age, I am surprised that I am not finding any mention of him in books! I will keep checking newspapers, too... There were other Isaac Ellis's around Norfolk County, but this was the one I FOUND that matched the birth year given. I will give newspapers a shot and let you know if anything turns up.
