I don't know where the parents lived or died. Ed lived mostly in Seattle but i'm looking for his parents. Unfortunately i don't know their names. Maybe a birth certificate for Edward would show the names of his parents. Would sincerely appreciate any data on this Carter family contact- dadbrown_99@yahoo.com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Look at the 1930 census>Mass>Norfolk>Quincy>District 84> image number 15 of 28....It shows a Carl and Esther as brother and sister living at 75 Cranch Street. The parents were Frederick and Ingeborg (sp?) Esther's age aligns with the 1919 birth date that you had, however this would put Carl's birth year at about 1916. The 1920 census>Mass>Norfolk>Quincy Ward 1> image number 5 of 25 shows another brother George (b. approx 1904) Also, looking at the massachusetts vital records, I didn't see a carl johnson listed for 1901. Granted, they may have screwed up the transcription. These records only go up to 1910. Here is the site: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/arc/arcsrch/VitalRecordsSearchContents.html Also, you can directly see the image at http://www.newenglandancestors.org (membership is required) Strangely enough..a person listed on the same page of the 1930 census is a relative of mine. That area in Quincy was known as "Swede hill". My grandfather also grew up on Cranch Street. There were a lot of Johnsons there.... one was my grandmother. None of the lineage you stated here though, crosses to my side. Small world, eh? In any event, my grandparents were extremely good friends with a Esther and Harold Lindquist. I will ask my father about it and see if he can make the connection. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. They came from Moray, Scotland - and in particular from the villages of Alves and Spynie (both near Elgin). I know that a John Kintrea (b 16.11.1780) left Moray for Port Glasgow shortly after his marriage to Agnes Gardner on 3rd June 1815, and I have a hunch that they emigrated. They accept requests via email or mail. They charge .50 a page for whatever copies are made. Right now, they are back logged about 4-6 weeks. The good part is that they really research the information for you. With all the detail you have, I am sure it will be a successful. Of course, these records only go to 1915. The occurrences after 1915 will have to found through a different avenue. But this is a good first step to narrow the time frame. I've found that I tend to get a quicker response to mailed requests accompanied by a small amount of money to cover the costs upfront. I come down from a line of Muldoon family that had links to this area. Here is what I know and how I fit in. First there was my gggreat grandfather Patrick Muldoon. I do know he came from Ireland where he was b. abt 1826. I have the Muldoon Bible from Patrick and his wife, Catherine (widow Martin) Patrick/Catherine then had a daughter Catherine Muldoon who married Patrick Bryan. I come down this line via their daughter, Catherine Bryan. Now as in most families of the day the cross marriages were truly knots to untie. >From the first Catherine listed who married Patrick Muldoon we have another knot. It appears that the daughter of Catherine (Widow Martin as we knew of her) was a Marie McGlaughlin. It is said this daughter married Joseph H. Muldoon (a brother to her mother's new husband. Now Jospeh H. Muldoon & Maria McGlaughlin had the following children: Charles, I believe was Ann as well. I do have the names listed on my ancestry file. I have done a little digging on the line of Charles Muldoon and found this. He marries a Mary Teresa Ricker (could be Bicker) and they have two children. My guess is the first child, Frank Muldoon b. 1908 MA, USA is dead. The second would be William b. about 1916. I find him in Milton, Norfolk Co in 1920. My hopes is that he might still be living or have family out there who could fill me in on this line. The names Muldoon and Malone have been two of my favorite names to have in my history and would like to know anything about those who came before me. My ggranny was b. Providence RI. I know abt when she and her family relocated to the Fall River area. I don't know anyone in this Muldoon line so I would dearly love to find some. Here it is for all to see. I hope someone finds me and thinks they want to claim me and my large family as part of theirs. Have a great one all. pj Darke Co, OH.
