If she was married in church, it was probably in her home town. http://www.norwoodma.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24&Itemid=479 One option I try occasionally is to go to mapquest.com and put in the address from the census. Then if you use the search option for 'find a business' and enter 'church' or 'catholic church' it will show you where they are and who is closest. Unfortunately, it does not show where the address you started with is, but you can use the back-arrow and forward-arrow to guesstimate. I'm going to be doing a hit and run at probate I won't be able to do research. 1. Re: [Norfolk Co MA] Question- Cohasset Central Cemetery - Peirce/Pierce
    2. John - Thank you!! This is my Charles PEIRCE, died 1869. And this is the correct spelling - unusual to find it correct!! Are you saying there are no more either Pierce or Peirce in this cemetery?? I have an old printout from Vital Records of Cohasset, MA, to the year 1850, printed in 1916; which lists under births: Albina S. Pierce, Sept 18, 1822. G.R.I. (grave record, Central Cemetery) Nancy M. Pierce, Jan. _ 1799, G.R.I. no PEIRCE or Pierce under deaths!!! I believe this Albina to be a daughter of Charles PEIRCE, and Nancy M. to be his second wife. I don't think either were born in Cohasset. Do you know if more information would be available somewhere?? Thanks again, Terri in WA state **************An Excellent Credit Score is 750. I searched the years 1858-1862 and could not find a record matching this information. I also tried the alternate spelling of Callaghan and Cullahan and could not locate it. I'd be happy to try again if you have any further info. My access is only between 1841-1910. For more indepth research the archives will be happy to research the information for you. The address is 220 Morrissey Blvd. Dorchester, MA 02125. They will send you a small bill for copying the record if located - otherwise it is free.
