I've "rescued" an old photograph of Chas Theodore RUSSELL which was taken at the McCormick Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's with Mr. RUSSELL appearing to be in his 60's or 70's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the subject of the photograph: Charles Theodore RUSSELL b. 20 Nov 1815 in Princeton, MA to parents Charles Theodore RUSSELL (b. 4 Mar 1793 in Princeton, MA) and Persis HASTINGS (b. 27 Nov 1793 in Princeton, MA). Charles married Sarah Elizabeth BALLISTER (b. 24 Mar 1817) on 1 Jun 1840 in Dorchester, MA and together they had 10 children including, Sarah Ann; Elizabeth Ballister; Sarah Ann; Josephine Emma; Sarah Louise; Charles Theodore; Joseph Ballister; Henry Edwards; William Eustis; and Clara Sumner RUSSELL. The children were all born in Boston, MA except Clara who was born in Cambridge, MA, all between 1841 and 1860. Charles died 16 Jan 1896 in Cambridge, MA. I believe that he was a State Representative, Senator, and Mayor of Cambridge at some point in time as well. Census records provide the following information: 1860 census of Cambridge, MA: Chas T. RUSSELL, age 45, an Atty at Law, born MA Sarah E.
