Her parents were Amelia and Henry Dutton (or perhaps Amelia Evans at the time). Thanks for your help! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The deed is very detailed in the relationships of the listed individuals. It lists Joseph Dyar of Weymouth in County of Suffolk, Husbandman, and Jane his wife,....etc. There are numerous names listed. Then it defines the people listed, Sarah Hatch, Jane Dyer, Benjamin Stevens, Mary Au?in, Hannah Stevens, Margery Rogers are children of Thomas Stevens late of Boston, Joiner and Sarah his wife both deceased. Which said Sarah was one of the daughters of John Place late of Boston aforesaid mariner, also deceased. I made copies of the deed. A death record can be requested for $15.00 from the Brookline Town Clerk at Town Hall - 1st Floor 333 Washington Street Brookline, MA 02445. Even with the month and year, they will perform a search to find the record. I have found the turn around is fairly quick with these requests. Once you get a specific death date, try random acts of genealogical kindness..www.raogk.com. There are a lot of wonderful volunteers in Mass that will locate obits for you (but the date of death is a must!) I have had a lot of success with raogk. I hope this helps.
