Good morning, everyone. :-) At the time I took over the list, AOL was bouncing virtually everything. The list software allows me to specify the number of times that an address can bounce before it is automatically removed. I changed it to the maximum of 16. Things are much quieter now. But, we are getting bounces from people who have discontinued their service or have full mail boxes. This is a reminder to you that when you change e-mail addresses you need to unsubscribe your old address. To do that, send an e-mail to MAMiddle-L-request@rootsweb.com with the word unsubscribe in the subject and body. Notice that it is practically the same address you use for posting a message. Just add -request after the L. Also, if you are going on vacation or going to be away from your computer long enough that your mailbox will be full, please unsubscribe. That said, I am resetting the automatic removal to 3. This is the default. Thank you and have a great weekend. :-) John In loving memory of our son, Brennan. 11/10/88-5/31/01. http://john-slaughter.rootsweb.com/Brennan.html MA-Bay-Colony list moderator USGenWeb County Coordinator Essex County, MA - http://www.rootsweb.com/~maessex Middlesex County, MA - http://www.rootsweb.com/~mamiddle USGenWeb Town Coordinator Ipswich, Essex, MA - http://www.rootsweb.com/~macipswi _________________________________________________________________ Dont just search.
