Jacki, Bad news, can not find his birth record at NEHGS or in the published VRs to 1850. I checked both Middlesex and Suffolk counties, just to see if it was recorded in Boston. I looked up the Vital records of Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the year 1850 Boston, Mass.: unknown, 1914-1915, 1742 pgs. and there were lots of Teels, just not for your couple. The father/couples are: Gershom George and Rebecca Ammi C. and Sarah Levi and Lydia Amos and Hannah Jonathan W and Emmeline I also checked the Vital records of Arlington, Massachusetts to the year 1850 Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1904, 162 pgs. There are only two Teels listed in the births: Georgianna Russell, d. Joseph and Mary, Apr 6, 1845 Thomas, s. Tho[ma]s H., July 30, 1815. Looks like an older brother; sorry no others are listed. Did the family move to another town after Thomas was born?
