    3. Hello, It dawned on me this morning that there were also DOW families in Nova Scotia, so I posted a query about the DOW and MARSTERS families in N.S. in the 1700's. Someone just responded with the following information: In 1958, the NEHGS published a book / document on "MARSTERS Family, Manchester, Mass." And, this researcher said that there were 3 brothers, Abraham, Jonathan, and Moses MARSTERS, who left Manchester and Salem, MA, and went to Falmouth, NS, in 1760. So, they were "planters" and not "loyalists." (They were sons of Abraham and Deborah (KNOWLTON) MARSTERS. She also said there is an 1899 book / document by J. D. MARSTERS on the "History of Kings County...." She said that this book might be digitized and available on the LDS site. I just received this e-mail a few minutes ago, so I haven't checked on-line for the books, yet ! Enjoy your day ! Betty (near Lowell, MA)
