Hello, I hope this is allowed on this List. This morning I was looking for information from the web site for the "Billerica Historical Society," and, while I didn't find what I was looking for, I did find a page mentioning a new book which has been recently published: http://www.billericahistorical.org/ "The Pioneers of Billerica: Settling the Shawshine Wilderness, 1654-1660." I'll have to go to the Library and see if they have a copy which I can look at ! I am hoping my KIDDER ancestor is one of the "pioneers" mentioned. And, the description says that my CROSBY ancestor is mentioned. (My other ancestors in the area; e.g, PARKER and CHAMBERLAIN, were moreso residents of 1600's Chelmsford.) Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. I believe an organization was started within the last 12 years for the graduates for the former "Howe High School" in Billerica ! But, I couldn't find "any" on-line mention of it ! Perhaps there are many more whom I don't know about !
