Even though your father had already served, he was still required to registered. Apparently, if someone was on active duty in September 1917, they didn't have to registered. Where did you dad serve at? If he already so combat, the board may not have chosen to call him up. Also, there is a Rootsweb list for Military stuff. You might want to ask the question there. Sue
