Hello again, I just remembered that I borrowed the "History of Carlisle" from the Library a few days ago. A quick look shows a Capt. Thomas GREEN active in Carlisle affairs in the 1850's And, there was a Thomas GREEN, active in town affairs during 1830's to 1860's. Would this have been the Thomas GREEN, b1768, or his son ? Or, a nephew ? And, I read on-line that the large house still standing in Carlisle Center across from the Library is referred to as "the GREEN house." Betty (near Lowell, MA)
