    1. Rev. Walter POWERS in Westford, early 1700's

    3. Hello, I have a new interest in learning about the Rev. Walter POWERS who lived in Westford in the early 1700's. On a web site for the "Samuel FITCH Bed & Breakfast" in Westford, it says the home was originally built by the Rev. Walter POWERS in 1711. If I could find out how long the POWERS family lived in the home, I might be able to find out when Samuel FITCH purchased the large estate ! I am trying to find out whether Samuel and Joanna FITCH lived in "her" home on Texas Road in Westford when they married in 1732, or in "his" home on Powers Road in Westford ! Thank you for your time. Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. Joanna was the former Mrs. Joanna (KEYES) KIDDER, and she lived on "the large KIDDER estate" of her late husband, Thomas KIDDER, when she met Samuel FITCH who had moved to town from Bedford, MA.
