There was an article in the April 21 edition of my local paper (Framingham) regarding a headstone that has been in the lost property department of the Milford, MA police department for at least the past 16 years. They are trying to find where it belongs. The stone is for Enos T. ALBEE (1814-1887) and his wife, Deborah H. NICHOLS (1818-1873). From WorldConnect and the census, I have established that they lived, for the most part, in Mendon (they were in Milford in the 1860 census). Enos was a boot manufacturer. They apparently only had one child, Charles, born 1845. Charles married and had several children. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about finding their final resting place? I plan to call the Mendon town clerk tomorrow (they were closed on Friday). Some later family members were apparently buried in the Oxford Cemetery and I saw on the web that there is an Albee Cemetery in Uxbridge. Suggestions welcome. I live in MA, but all of my research is in PA and MD. Vanessa
