Hello, I just went to the web site for the Chelmsford Historical Society to see if they had any events coming up this Spring ! My great-great-grandmother, nee' Adelaide Crosby HUTCHINSON, was descended from George HUTCHINSON of Charlestown, MA, and Simon CROSBY of Billerica, MA. P.S.2 I had mentioned the GREEN Cemetery in Carlisle in another post this morning. When I looked it up, I discovered that it is the small, historic cemetery just south of Carlisle Center on Rt. 225. And, I was just there a few months ago for the burial of my neighbor's brother ! A quick story about my new neighbors is that, when my neighbor (in late 70's), also named Betty, got married, she moved from Arlington to Billerica ! When I got married in 1960's, I moved from Arlington to Billerica ! And, the other Betty had lived only a few houses from me -- but her husband had moved the family to northern NH some 10 years before I got there ! We have come to find out that this NEEDHAM family and my friend and I have many "coincidences." (This family returned to MA to have a small farm nearby in Carlisle.)
