    3. Hi Betty... Might my George Adams III, born 1647, Watertown, MA and married to Martha Fiske in 1683/84 be part of the Adams family you're researching? As far as I can ascertain my Adams family (George,Jr. and his brothers Joseph and John) were from Somerset Co., England and came directly to Watertown. George Adams III had a sister, Margaret, who married Thomas Wellington, Jr., and so I'm related to this particular Adams family twice. Just curious...and as always, I've enjoyed reading your wonderfully researched reports! Thanks so much for the work that you do. Suzi Larson

    3. Hi Suzi, I just checked the "History of Chelmsford," and, even though there are many ADAMS people mentioned, I don't see a George. The "History of Carlisle" mentions a George, but only as an architect / designer of the Library in the 1800's?. The "History of Westford" does not mention a George, either. Perhaps someone who is descended from an ADAMS family in this area has information for you !
