    1. Nathaniel HUTCHINSON descendants (Charlestown, 1600's)

    3. Hello, Thank you to Janice for posting the HUTCHINSON information ! A reminder is that my ancestor is Nathaniel HUTCHINSON (son of George). I'll read Janice's posting more closely later in the morning, but a reminder is that George's brother, Thomas HUTCHINSON, came over in 1630 with him, but died within a day of arriving. His widow remarried within a year or so, and they and her HUTCHINSON children moved to Essex County, I believe. (My genealogy-memory isn't working this morning !) Because it's a long-standing family in MA, I've never spent too much time in trying to summarize the descendants of George HUTCHINSON, and his only son, Nathaniel. But, I have also discovered that his extended family is not easily found on the Internet, either. I would love to see a simple outline of George's descendants (names only) so that I can use it as a reference guide ! I believe that George lived in the part of Charlestown, which first annexed off to become Woburn, and much later annexed off to become Winchester ! So, of the land which is now called, Winchester, the HUTCHINSON's lived there from the mid-1600's to the mid-1900's ! Betty (near Lowell, MA)

Do you have any documentation of these statements about Thomas and who his widow and her Hutchinson children were? I don't find any source that he came over with a wife and children. Anderson in Great Migration Begins says: "Thomas Hutchinson was #52 on the list of early Boston church members, immediately before GEORGE HUTCHINSON; after his name is the later notation that he had died, at an undetermined date [BChR 14]. ... All this indicates that Thomas Hutchinson came in 1630, settled in Charlestown, and died very soon, probably the same year." I cannot find in Torrey marriages any listing of his widow or her re-marriage. There certainly were Hutchinsons in Salem, but I thought those who were born in England were children of Richard and Alice (Bosworth) Hutchinson, not the elusive Thomas.
