My ancestor Benjamin Hudson married Mely/Melia Smith July 24 1779 in Pellerell. His parents marriage is also shown in Pepperell. But none of Benjamin's siblings marriages so I am assuming they all moved to Vermont sometime after 1779. I am desperatly trying to find the parents of Benjamin's wife, Mely Smith. I would like to think that her parents were also around the Pepperell area also. They had a granddaughter named Amelia and I would also like to think her name was Amelia and was called Mely. Benjamin and Mely also had a first daughter they named Milly Hudson so her name could have been Milly. Any Smith research going on in this area at this time frame would be very helpful.
