February 18, 1697 at Sudbury, Middlesex, MA - This William (Ensign) is the man who arrived in MA aboard the Confidence in 1638 and is the nephew of William Kerly, Sr, the Immigrant of Ashmore, father of Mary, Capt. Henry and William, Jr (m. Jane Unknown and who died at Lexington in 1719. Both William, Jr and wife Jane and daughter Elizabeth are buried in the Robbins Cemetery, E. Lexington.) Ensign William and wife Anna King Kerley were the parents of Bartholomew Carley, est. b.1650 at Sudbury. Bartholomew appears to be their only child.
