Good morning, everyone. :-) First, I'll take this opportunity to let you know that I am now the MAMiddle list administrator. I am not going to make any changes at this time - other than changing the list prefix from MAMIDDLE to MAMiddle. I have been in data processing for over 30 years. When I started we only had upper case letters. I hate the use of all caps. I use mixed upper and lower case for URLs to make them more readable. The county has 2 "new" town coordinators. One, you all know, Dennis Ahern. He is going to be TC for Acton. I know that he will do an outstanding job. His credentials are absolutely impeccable. The other is Cyndy Bates Finnie who is TC for Sudbury. She has had a site up for a couple years, but it wasn't linked. At the moment, Acton is just a temporary page. Dennis will be getting a basic page together and should have something up late next week. It will have a completely different URL. Take a look at the Middlesex web site (URL below). There are something like 54 towns in the county and there are only about 6 or 7 that have coordinators. That's a lot of towns that need someone to maintain. This is NOT hard work. There are only a few rules. Come on. If you're on this list, you have an interest in Middlesex county and its towns. You don't need to live in or near the town, although it helps. I live in northern Idaho. This is the information I have found so far: Gustav Cederqvist born 18700724 Sweden. Wife Alice M Cederqvist born 1886 Maine, USA. Son: Elliot Cederqvist born 1912 MA, USA. I have the copy of CENSUS 1930 Massachusetts Middlesex and it says: head Gus Cederqvist Occupation: Painter (I cant read where) wife Alice Cederqvist son Elliot Cederqvist Occupation: Skipper? After this date I cant find her or husband or son. I cant read if they spelled Cederqist with U or V, the original is V. One thing for sure, he's not a child of Nathaniel and Joanna. Thomas was born abt 1645 which does not fit with the children of Nathaniel and Joanna. I've just now starting in researching Thomas to find more info. It appears that he always lived in Conn. Nathaniel and Joanna were in always in Mass. I found some info where he was having trouble with his wife Rachel about her moving to Mattatuck Conn. Apprently he was there before going to Hartford and then Farmington. Nothing I can find ever puts him in Mass. I have found some information what has him christened in England but I've have yet to research that info.

I'll tell you all that I know. Joseph and Parmelia were married in Lowell but I don't know when. They had a daughter that was born Oct. 10, 1901. And I'm pretty sure that joseph and parmelia died in manitoba, canada. what i have on their marriage is only this...St. Joseph de Lowell, MA. I gather that there was a church called St. Joseph? I don't have a date but they were both born around 1878 in Quebec, Canada. So, add aproximately 20 years to that and it would be sometime around 1898 or so for the year. I really appreciate your help. John
