What is the address of the National Archives? Is there a motel near by?
Dear John: Thank you a million times over for this information. After all of these years, you've slipped the last brick into place for me! I started off with Thomas Bacon's name and dozens of pieces of misinformation. Thank you so very much for your quick reply and the sources to back it up. Suzi Larson
All these families moved from Egremont MA to Greene NY (Chenango Co). Does anybody know of a reason? It would have been around 1790's to early 1800's. Suzanne
I am looking for a marriage record of Blodget Smith to Abigail (last name unknown)
The Rice family seems to be well documented, unfortunately the Smith family is less so. I have dates of their marriage, children's names and location of burial. I would like to find a will or probate record. They lived in Sudbury. Any ideas?
John Smith in 1642 in Sudbury MA is shown as owning land that was originally given to John Knight, then transferred to Thomas White and then to John Smith. There is a link that shows John Knight as the original owner of 7 acres (http://sudbury.ma.us/archives/history/maps/First-Roads.htm. If I go to Sudbury how can I track what the current address of this 7 acres is. Suzanne
Where are the probate records for Sudbury MA 1687? Sudbury seems to have a lot of records on the internet but I have not located probate records. If I come to MA (from Texas) would I have the most luck in Sudbury, Boston or someplace else in tracking information? Suzanne

I think the reason you have Ann listed as birth mother is because on the Census Ann might have looked like Ami!! thank you
