Looking at the state census for Hopkinton MA of 1855 and 1865, there is no Ann Delaney. There are a few Pikes, but no F. W. Pike. In Hopkinton there is a stret named Pike. > > Requesting lookup for date of death and record source. > Reportedly died @ 1892 in Hopkinton, Mass. Requesting > location of burial also. Hi, I have just subscribed and am hoping someone can help me find some information on the following family. I have been unsuccesful in finding a death certificate for James Brown, died 14 July 1944, place unknown. His name is on the family headstone in Milltown RC Cemetery, Belfast, Ireland but when I checked with Milltown there was no trace of his burial. I believe James may have lived in England, according to the headstone, it was his daughter, Catherine Coyle( born c.1900, Ireland), living in Natick, USA,who erected the family headstone later, and put his details on it. I have also found a family death notice in a local paper, the Irish News in 1952. One insertion was from a Wallace Coyle, Natick, , Mass. USA..I am not sure whether the Wallace in the insertion was an adult or child. Other names connected to this Wallace is Mary Therese Coyle and James Brown ( son of James Brown, died 1944). I have been told that some time in the 1960s, Catherine Coyle had moved to Queens, in NY, although I have no further information on this. Does any of this information mean anything to anyone, or can someone point me in the right connection to finding further details. My main reason for finding a connection, is to help break down brick walls in the family tree back home in Belfast. The Greenfield perhaps a relative of one of the people I am looking for the 2 in Arlington also could be relatives of the ones I am looking for. Before I start writing letters again I would like to see if I can perhaps find someone who knows any of them first. Thank you for your suggestion. Aine
I am looking for a Census and or other information (dob, deaths, marriages etc) for the Downs Family. I know that they had a daughter named Alice(later married John Rudolph) and they may be a daughter named Philann or Phyllis, and a son named Edward. Mothers name was either Phyllis, or Philann I think, and unfortunately I have no idea what her husbands name was. I do know that the family lived in Reading Ma in the 1950's and I heard they were there a long time, thus this message. If found , would you please e-mail me information since I cannot access census images . _Nsambradley@aol.com_ (mailto:Nsambradley@aol.com) Thank you Barbara

Thank you very much - it was driving me crazy for years that I couldn't find out where he was in Italy! I guess he "forgot" when he was born - alot of the Census information has his age and if you subtract it from the Census year I was getting 1893. Then when I found his brother's birthdate(definetly knew it was the brother) the same year - I knew something was messed up. Again a HUGE Thank you! Margaret

Surnames: O'Neil Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AFB.2ACE/1832.2 Message Board Post: Hi Aine, Sylvia Street in Arlington is a steep hill running UP from Massachusetts Avenue on the Arlington / Lexington line. In fact, the bottom half of the hill is in Lexington. The top half is in Arlington. When you get up to the plateau, you think the street ends because you come to where a house sits, but the street continues on the back of the property. The other end of Sylvia Street goes over to Appleton Street. The hilly part has house numbers, maybe 75 to 125, and house numbers say in the 200's are on the "other end." That's where I grew up, and I'm not remembering an O'NEIL family at this moment. But, I don't have the best of memories, and we really didn't know the families "beyond the house in the middle of the road." I do know there were O'NEIL families in Tewksbury around the 1960's to 1980's ! . I just reread your message, and noticed the years of birth of John O'NEIL's children. They would have gone to the Locke School on Park Avenue ! The Dallin School off of Appleton Street didn't open until around 1960. (My family lived about 3 ft. short of a mile from the school, and thus we were not allowed to get on the school bus. Walking back & forth from home to school was "not" fun !) (And, walking back up the long, steep hill from the stores was not fun !) :o)
