The only info I have on my Great Grandfather H.P. Malone is that a son was born to him named Hugh or Hugay Preston Malone in 1897-98 in Southwest Louisiana (USA). My Great Grandfather seemed to just appear in Orange, Texas (USA) and married an Elizabeth Caroline Hyatt from nearby Louisiana. I have a marriage certificate dated 9-9-1897. On the 1900 federal census, Elizabeth Caroline showed to be widowed. I have found another Hugh Malone about the correct age, in New Orleans Parish 1920 federal census, and has a new son named Preston. Go figure.
