Our first Thomas Malone is said to have come from County Waterford in Ireland to Pennsylvania in 1775. I think we may have located him near Hanover, York Co. Either he or his son Thomas Jr, married Sarah Iler [Oiler - Oyler]. They then moved to the James River above Buchanan, in what is now Botetourt County Virginia. The Malones intermarried with the MOORE and JARROTT families who migrated to Kanawha and Mason Counties (W) VA. Seeking information on these families. Juhling McClung
