Hi, I am new to this list. I'm trying to trace my Malone roots back to Ireland. My great grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Malone, born Apr 15, 1868 to William Carroll Malone & Emaline Simms. William Carroll was born about 1827 in Tennessee (buried in DeKalb Co., Tennessee) to William Malone and Rachel Suzanne. His father was William Malone and born around 1791 in North Carolina. My great grandfather and his family relocated to Texas around the end of the Civil War. He married Laura Foshee in Texas. I can trace the Foshee family back to the 1600s in France.
