Hello everyone, I recently joined the list and see conversations of Malone's in TX. From what I have found so far it appears my roots are more in the VA, GA, AL, MS area. grandparents: Ulmont U. Smith b. 3/3/1899 AK m. 2/9/1924 Willabelle Gilmore b. 12/20/1898 FL ggrandparents: John Marshall Smith b. 1/16/1851 m. 2/5/1890 2nd wife, Eva Lela Melton b. 3/19/1871 gggrandparents: Thomas Jefferson Smith, Sr m. 5/15/1830 Martha Ann Malone b. 1/7/1814 AL ggggrandparents: John Malone b. abt 1784 VA m. 11/10/1811 GA Susannah Boring b. abt.1790 SC Through my research I see that a Thomas Malone b? m. 7/22/1785 Susanna Tuck. Thomas is the son of Daniel Malone and Sarah Sullivan(t) from VA. This line talks of being in Halifax Co. VA and Greene Co. GA. The book "Malone and allied Families" states this Thomas Malone & Susanna Tuck had a son named John Malone, it doesn't state marriage info for John Malone though. Can anyone help shed some light on this VA, GA line of Malones? I don't own the book 'Malone and allied Families" but viewed it at my local Library.
