I find only one son listed for him but there are 21 pages of descendants for that one son and he is listed as only a probable son. I have no way to scan and send you the pages and I am not willing to hand type them. I will type in below what is for Yancey and his one son, William. YANCEY MALONE 6-311, PROBABLE SON OF NATHANIEL MALONE 5-69 Yancey Malone 6-311 9c. 1760/70 Granville Co, NC - after 1830 Henry Co., TN), probable son of Nathaniel Malone 5-69, is not found in NC records. He probably moved with his father's family. He is found in 1830 census in Henry Co., TN, aged 60-70 with wife aged 60-70 and one other male aged 30-40. The name suggests the relationship. Apparent children of Nathaniel all seeded to have "Yanceys" among their descendants. This relationship is not proven. His probable son, based on family researchers, age, location and given names (Not a proven relationship) 7-553 William Malone (1790-1792 Caswell Co., NC - 1871 DeKalb Co., TN) probable son of Yancey Malone 6-311 m. Rachel ........... (1787 NC - 1860-70 DeKalb Co., TN) Is first found in 1820 census in Smith Co., TN along with Robert Malone 6-312 family. He is still there in the 1830 census. By the 1850 census he is shown in Smith Co., TN aged 59 with wife Rachel aged 63, both of NC. He was a farmer. The 1860 census shows William & Rachel in DeKalb Co., TN. By the 1870 census Rachel has died and William is aged 80, living alone. He is buried in DeKalb Co, and she is buried New Hope Bapt. Church Cem, Alexandria, DeKalb Co., TN. You could gather a lot of information from the book about the many descendants from this one son. There is, however, the "probable" problem. You must decide how you handle that one yourself. I have a similar problem in my Hale line. My GGGGrandfather was one of two brothers and it is not certain which one. I use one of the brothers, others in the line use the other. We all get straight again after my GGGGGrandfather. Lots of luck. Gordon Hale P.S. - Many larger public libraries have copies of this book. This is a huge tome, over 1400 pages.
