    1. [MALONE-L] looking for any info
    2. Hi Everyone! I'm new to the list and haven't had time to post yet, but here goes. My main Malone interest and brick wall is John Malone (go figure!). He was born in 1881, probably Missouri but not entirely sure. He married my great-grandmother, Vera Mae Hanson, in 1911 (I have their marriage license). They had three children: Lee Roy, Lloyd George, and Mary Louise(my grandmother). In Lloyd's funeral book, it has the date 1950 next to John's name as the year he died, but doesn't say where. My mother said that he died in either Oregon or possibly Washington state. I've checked a few counties in Oregon, but nothing yet. According to the 1910 Comanche County, Texas census, he was living with Frank Maupin and family and lists as being a nephew. It says his father was from Missouri. Anybody that has any info or any ideas on what I should try next, please feel free to contact me! Thanks in advance for any help! Sincerely, Angie

    3. Angie, My name is Judy and I have a John Thomas Malone who is my great grandfather. My dad says he was born in Missouri, but I do not have proof yet. Although, he died in 1934 in Coffeyville, Kansas. His dad's name was William L. Malone and his mom was Saria Black and they were from Missouri. John Thomas was married to someone before my great grandmother and had several children. One of his children are still alive and I am planning a visit to him soon. I do not know if this helps but I will keep you posted.
