    3. Yes know what you mean by hitting brick walls, I just recently believe that our Solomon may have a "real name" other then Solomon, so this makes it hard to find parents of his. Hmm, I sometimes think he was hiding from someone. I know he died in 1881 supposing in Franklin County, TX, but cannot find him there and have wrote to Franklin County and they only came up with what I did as far as him being in the 1870 censes, but according to his last wife, when she filled out the paper work to try to get a widowers pension from him being in the civil war, she said he died in Franklin County. But she was denied, even though when she married him in 1863, she said he was in the army under a certain regiment, but the army had no record of him being in the civil war. So he may have been a volunteer more then likely, but he was paid for his services working at the mill in Ellis County PA. So who knows. If I run across anything I'll let you know. Thanks for getting back with me. ----- Original Message ----- From: <jfm8152@aol.com> To: <MALONE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 12, 2002 11:53 AM Subject: [MALONE-L] Malone"s > To Gary & Bev thanks for the response.
