John married Charlot Elizabeth Gay 25 Dec 1867, Nacogdoches Co., TX. Charlot was born ca 1851 Alabama. John died before Mar 1876. Their children were: William Calvin, b. Apr 1865, San Jacinto Co., TX, d. 4 Apr 1937; marr Alabama Elizabeth Taylor 12 Jan 1887 Elbert Eli , b. 28 Sep 1868, Nacogdoches Co., TX, d. 28 May 1947, Runnels Co., TX, married (1) Catherine Cunningham 3 Jan 1889, San Jacinto Co., TX, and (2) Fannie Beulah Sprott, 25 Dec 1898,SanJacinto Co.,TX Solomon, b.
