My GG-Grandparents were Robert C. Malone, Jr. (b. ABT 1815, ?Smith County?, Tennessee; d. AFT 1880 Tipton County, Tennessee) and Elizabeth ?Harper? (b. ABT 1825, North Carolina; d. BET 1868/1880, Tipton County, Tennessee); they had the following children: 1) Ednie Elissa Malone (b. 2 Jul 1845, Smith County, Tennessee) -married 22 Mar 1866, Tipton County, Tennessee, Lemuel A. Scarbrough, Sr (my Great Grandparents); children were Ida May, Albert Malone, George Thomas, Lemuel Alexander, Jr., Manor Stafford, Bessie Welch, Ednie Shaw, and baby boy Scarbrough (only lived few hours). 2) Mary C. Malone (b. ABT 1849, Tennessee). 3) June H. Malone (b. ABT 1852, Tennessee). 4) Katie A. Malone (b. ABT 1854, Tennessee) - married (1rst) 1 Apr 1872, Tipton County, Tennessee, John G. Scarbrough (brother of Lemuel Scarbrough); they had children Anna B., Robert A., Amelia G., and Katie G. Malone. Robert A. Malone lived in Dyer County, Tennessee before reportedly moving to Conway, Arkansas. Katie A. Malone married (2nd) _________ Mauzy after John Scarbrough's death in Dec,1879. 5) Clarine A. Malone (b. ABT 1854, Tennessee) - twin of Katie A.??? or same person??? 6) Julia A. Malone (b. ABT 1857, Tennessee) - married 30 Oct 1876, Tipton County, Tennessee, J.J. Jones. 7) Benjamin O. Malone (b. Aug 1860, Tipton County, Tennessee) - married January 1898, Tipton County, Tennessee Susan Ann McIntosh; they had children James or Jarvis R., William Otey, Gordon, and Junious Malone. 8) Myrtle Malone (b. 1865, Tennessee). 9) Lilly L. Malone (b. 1868, Tennessee). All of the above were comipled from personal family records; Smith and Tipton County, Tennessee and Galveston County, Texas Census records, and obituaries and are stongly linked.
