Marla: I was at Ware's town hall about 8-10 years ago, looking for records dating back to the 1860s. The clerks let me look through the birth, death and marriage indexes, and when I found a possible relation they would bring me the appropriate register to look through. It was a little time-consuming because I could get only one register at a time. The clerks seemed interested in helping me, even though they had other things to do. Some of the writing was faded or not very well-written, but better than microfilm I had seen. I don't know if the records go back to the 1700s. Good luck Regards, John Neville
