My great-great grandfather was Townsend Caswell, born in Taunton,Mass; came to Franklin County [Hampshire Co in 1810-1820].....married Synthia WHITAKER [of New Salem,Franklin Co.,Mass] on Jan 21,1821 and had issue: [Wendell,Franklin Co.,Mass] : i. Anna-July 1822 ii. Josephus H.- July 1824 iii. Townsend--Oct 1826 iv. Adin--Aug 1829. married Ellen Haskins and lived in Gardner,Ma[Worcester Co] area; died Oct 1,1900 ------------------- Townsend[sr] remarried Oct 26,1851, to Betsy HOLDEN of Leverett,Mass, they had issue: i. Delia: born 1852; ,arroed George Forbes in 1871; died Jan 17,1882 ii. Jeannette: b. June 2,1855 in Wendell, married Erastus Cole of Orange,Mass; Jeannette died 29 June 1929, in Erving,Mass. iii. Myron: b. June 2,1858 and died Dec 1940, never married ---------------------- doing any one of these people ? My line is Townsend and Betsy[Holden,parents: Benjamin and Nancy ] Jeannette and Erastus Cole [ son of Horatio and Caroline[Shaw] Cole Do have some information on Adin, son of Sinthia/Synthia Whitaker and Townsend....... anyone doing his line ? Townsend died in Wendell, April 13,1872; and Betsy also in Wendell, Jan 10,1888.
