His name was Sylvanus Griswold. My family records show that he was a Reverend, and I have found a historical site which tells me the first church was formed November 19, 1762, with Sylvanus Griswold as its Reverend. He has a daughter, Isabella, born 1780 in Feeding Hills, Hampden Co., MA, died 1848 in White Creek, NY. I've found sources which suggest his parents may have been Edward and Abigail, and his wife Elizabeth Marvin, but have not been able to verify. Any leads or suggestions?
