He was born in Springfield on July 17, 1881; worked as a fireman at the Mills Spring Station - was married twice - Lillian Snell (died 1929) and Charlotte Dalton; lived at 74 Niagra St at the time of his death; working as a Captain in the Fire Dept; died May 22, 1945; buried at St. Michael's with first wife, his parents and brother; looking for newspaper obit that may show who survived him. I live in California so unable to go to library to search. I have searched the census but unable to locate him in adult life - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
