    3. It should also be noted that it was common for Blacks to intermarry with Native people. It was also common for Native people to be listed with the Black or "Colored" people even if they were only Native. Because of the turmoil after King Philip's war, many Native people moved away from their home areas, so determine the tribe of the people involved, one needs to read about the interest of the area, both European and Native.
