Eight towns have been added to the 1790 Hampshire County, MA Census site as follows: Amherst Ashfield Belchertown Cummington Heath Hatfield Montgomery New Salem Not all in Hampshire County you say? In 1790 Hampshire County covered what is now Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin Counties. This large area is making this a big job. The 20 towns online now will look small when this is all finished, so please be patient with me on the site.
