You may want to contact the Massachusetts Archives _http://www.sec.state.ma.us/arc/arcidx.htm_ (http://www.sec.state.ma.us/arc/arcidx.htm) They list that they have records from state institutions. I am not sure if it would include hospitals like Northampton, but probably would be worth inquiring. Tom
