I have all those and an update. I was able to locate George with his parents in the 1910 census and with his mother in the 1920 census; both times in Holyoke, Hampden, MA. His father was listed as Jerry Perrault and his mother was Mary. In 1920, his new wife, Augustine is in the Perrault household at 41 Mosher St. The only Jeremie Perreault I have found so far is the one who was married to Sophie Desseinque (seems to be a corruption of Tessingier, or something like that). I do have George's death cert and obituary. It's making the jump to the correct Quebec parish, now, that is the problem. His record and that of at least one of his brother's gives Montreal....but which parish? Je suis fatigue...... Any ideas? Oh, also, I located Oscar Boisjolie with his wife and family, including Augustine, in the 1910 Census, S. Hadley. So Eugel, who married Rose, and Augustine really are brother and sister and were both born in Minneapolis, MN. Augustine put that on her SS application, and Eugel (EugeneI) put it one his WWI Draft Card. So Oscar Boisjolie really did go to Minneapolis, it seems, then, home to Montreal, perhaps, then back to the US, to MA, in 1900 (per census records). I've spent the morning trying to find him in 1900 but his entrance to the US must have been after the census was taken. I do seem to have his home parish in Quebec, and have a few generations back on that. Augustine's descendants all look very Indian...as though they were at least 1/2. But in all records, so far, they are listed as white or caucasian. The physicals in the WWI Draft cards are interesting, but don't point to strong Indian characteristics in any one record. In 1900, the census-taker listed no race for Eugel, Joseph and Augustine Boisjolie. Maybe they were too dark to really be listed as white and the enumerator, in his confusion, simply left it blank. Maybe Oscar had an earlier marriage to a Minnesota native......except that Augustine lists Delia as her mother on the SSA. Well the plot is ALWAYS thick, isn't it? Thanks, again, for your attention to these matters. All ideas are welcome.
