Transcript-Telegram Thursday, August 8, 1929, page 2 Richard F. Schubach Millwright at Germania Mills for Many Years Dies at Home of son. Richard F. Schubach, 78, died last evening at the home of his son, Walter F. Schubach, 34 Wolcott street, following a short illness. He was born in Germany and came to this city 37 years ago. For a number of years he had been employed as a millwright at the Germania Mills. Besides his son, he leaves one brother, Paul Schubach and one sister, Mrs. Anna Schlichting, both of this city, also a step-brother, Robert Schubach of New York and a grandson, Walter Schubach, Jr. The funeral will be held at the home, 34 Wolcott street, Saturday afternoon. Rev. E. C. Steubl will officiate, the body will be taken to Springfield for cremation.
